Your Choice for Calgary Shoulder Pain Care
We are a Calgary Spine and Sports Medicine Clinic that has the knowledge and expertise to treat Shoulder pain and injuries.
We uniquely combine the talents of our physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and exercise experts to treat shoulder problems.

Who should I see for my Shoulder Pain?
This is a tough question most people face when trying to find a solution for their shoulder pain.
We take the think out of that question. Our team all works together under one roof, so it won’t matter who you begin with for your initial assessment. Our physiotherapists, chiropractors, and physicians are all experts at assessing your shoulder pain. Once accurately diagnosed, they will recommend the best care plan for you, and here is the best part: Because we are all under one roof, we can all talk to each other if your treatment plan requires more than one health practitioner to be involved.
You may require medication or injections from our physician, IMS, and rehab from our physiotherapists and adjustments and soft tissue therapy from our chiropractor. Wouldn’t it be nice if all of your health care team worked together to support you?
Most people recognize physiotherapy is an effective approach for the treatment of extremity pain. Our physiotherapists certainly fit that description. They work closely with our sports medicine physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning occurs.

We are National Spine & Wellness, and we invite you to experience proven results through expert care.

A Chiropractor for my Shoulder Pain? I Thought they only Treated Spines?
Most people don’t realize that chiropractors are fully trained in assessing and treating shoulder pain. There are numerous adjusting and manual therapy techniques that are often required to regain full joint mobility of these structures. Unfortunately, this is often overlooked in many clinical settings, which does not allow a full functional return to the affected extremity. Make sure to let us know if you have any extremity joint issues.
How are they Adjusted/Treated?
Just like any other joint in the body, the extremities have very specific functions and ranges of joint motion. An assessment is made of the injured area, and very specific adjustments and other recommendations are applied to facilitate a full recovery.
Conservative manual therapy, including manipulation and soft tissue therapy, is first-line care for shoulder pain. Our chiropractors and physiotherapists have specialized training to effectively and efficiently do this form of treatment. This, combined with other interdisciplinary care if necessary, will be organized under one roof at National Spine & Wellness to optimize your recovery.
